i've been thinking alot lately...yes blame it on the insanely free amount of DAY time i have which i spend reading chick-read books..where the girl gets her dream guy at the end blablabla..
ANYWAYS, i digress...as i said, i have been thinking...
hmm now i dun really know how to relate what i've been thinking.

ok i just DELETE-DELETE-DELETED a whole chunk of what i wrote. it just sounds so wrong when its not floating in my brain.
sigh. i think i'll just go mad if i'm left to myself..

actually the next part has got nothing to do with the previous..i just like the phrase "speaking of which"..dun ask me why, i do not know.
don't u guys just hate it when u go somewhere, expecting a good time, and just end-up feeling so left out cuz of sth stupid like the fact that you're the only student/only poor-one/only one who doesn't drive/only one who doesnt have 4 houses/only one who studied in a local U (SINCE WHEN WAS THAT A BAD THING) ???
this happened to me and another poor friend just recently..it was really frustratiing for me as i thought i would be having a nice evening out, at some quaint cafe chatting with 2 of the closest ppl i know...in the end i end up at a noisy bar, where i am so inappropriately dressed that i alr feel un-welcomed, where the topics just fly past my head, where everbody introduces themselves to each other followed by a name card (i half wondered if i should photocopy my matric card and hand it out) and where nobody bothered to talk to u if u weren't earning. . (that was meant to signify fullstop)
it was even more irritating as the "friends" i had gone there with were completely ignoring me! i mean yes, i sound like a whiny spoilt brat, but why ask me out if u're just gonna leave me in a corner and socialise with your own other friends who think of themselves as big arse-shots to even smile at me?
i mean one of them was not too bad as he kept checking back to ensure if i was bored/lonely/sucidal but the other..sigh...
maybe talked to me about 3 sentences through-out the nighht?
ok im sick of whininggggggggggggggg...
aniweis so here's the lesson : DUN ASK FRIENDS OUT IF YOU'RE GONNA BE WITH YOUR OWN FRIENDS WHO HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THE PRIOR-MENTIONED FRIEND AND IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA SPEND TIME WITH THAT PRIOR-MENTIONED FRIEND.

ok wow im suprised i actually remeberd my password and all, seeing how its been a few centuries since i updated...i think ppl have stopped checking to see if i have updated..lolwell wad can i say, i just didn't have any inspiration to update, though alot was going on in my life..weird crazy life...
exams are over and hols are halfway gone too..worked in a couple of places..truly enjoyed workin though i am dreading entering my final year in NUS.. i just want to be able to say "IM A STUDENT" for a few more years before i'm willing to give up concession passes, fast-food student meals, cheal deals and 3-month long holidays.. sigh. and oh ya, studying.
well well, had another dance performance...YATHRA..it was a different experience which i really enjoyed alot and has made me think alot about where i want to go with my dance. i'm grappling with a very difficult decision now but i cant reveal much as the details are still in the making. basically its a "choosing-sides" thing. i really dunno. its just so frustrating! i thought the arts was supposed to be fun.
argh.
as for sitar, i got a very bad piece of news from sunitha a few days ago. the new arse of a teacher has shifted her to a more advanced class, leaving me and rathi alone. fine the teacher is not an arse. she's quite nice, and i understand she's only doing that cuz sunitha's really good and will never get a chance to excel if she keeps getting stuck with us. but stilll...sigh. i have no interest in gg for class anymore, as sunitha was e reason i joined aniweis. oh GOD i sound like a lesbian lover pining for my sweetheart.
oh well there's still RATHI. at least im not totally alone. sighhh..
in other terms, i'm going for a short trip to Thailand with a few of the ebie peeps..i really cant wait. alreadi booked e tix n hostel rooms..but i really have to start saving now..spent quite a bit of my pay alreadi..and bought alot of stuff for the house THAT I CANT CLAIM MONEY BACK FOR. grrr..but its so exciting exciting.. dun come warning me of riots and all that, im GOING and that's IT. END OF DISCUSSION. if my mum and dad were cool enough to say "ya ok just dun get lost" then its COOL.
speaking of cool parents, have i mentioned enough how radically cool mine ah? hahahaha after YEARS of persuasion, BOTH BOTH BOTH of my parents finally said "YA WADEVER" to me getting INKED. and yes, your's truly is now an affliate of "singapore tattoers inc".
wooohooooo i got a design of an ANAHATA chakra..its quite meaningful to me, took about 2 months for me to get my design and all that..had it done at the ever famous johnny 2 thumbs, and they really get 2 thumbs up from me and quoted me a ridiculously cheap price. i was determined to go to a good place, i mean its like FOREVER. and since i cldnt afford even the taxes to fly to miami to get inked by AMI JAMES AND CREW, i went to singapore's best..and was expecting quite a high price. but for a RATHER LARGE palm-sized tattoo, i paid quite little. maybe its my face la. hahahhaha.
the process was fucking painful. esp since mine's at the lower back. i was about to die and almost kicked my poor tattooist (meng tat), but miruna held me back. lol. she was really quite a darling, letting me squeeze the life out of her hands. after half an hour, she looked quite pale and exchanged with vik, and just as i was telling vik to look after my laptop if i should die there, meng said the infamous words "ok finished!"
i could have kissed him i tell u...
aniweis my tat is still scabbing and peeling and not looking very pretty so no pictures for now.
alright i have to go now, using the desktop as my darling ibook's charger is spoilt.. thus my disappearance for these few mths...sis's got school tmr...so..adios..

one more paper left! wheeeeeedance performance on sat went GREAT!
i am soooooo relieved its over and am soooo glad it went well!!!
ppl actually came up to me, took my hand and congratulated me for a job well done!!! people i DUN KNOW!!!!!!

ppl actually said i did a great job!!!!! random members of the audience!!!!!
i am allowed to brag k. its my blog.
i am so so so so happy that i completed the dance, even with a blocked nose and random sneezes...i am so so so glad it went well with abundance of energy and applause and great costumes that made me look fat.
now just one more hurdle. 2104 tmr. HAIKS. URGH.

well the reason is quite pathethic...everyone in my family has gone to bhajan's at N's place and i voluntered/was forced to stay at home to study for the wretched BIG E'S...sob.
i'm so sick of studying. study study study.
thank god i only have 3 papers this sem. else i would have just died by now. 3 mods alreadi i cant handle. how would i have handled 5? how did i ever handle 5 before? well its back to 5 next sem aniweis...sighs...
i'm suffering major withdrawal symptoms from Grey's, Ugly Betty, Heroes and CSI.
Grey's and Heroes i have alreadi watched whatever that is out there and the other 2 i just haven had time to go find. sigh..
dance performance is next week..really major stressing..have a rehearsal TMR and also on THURS and SAT is the big day..sigh..
i've been neglecting alot of things for this performance and it better pay off! grrr...
alrite people, here's the deal..i've been too exhausted to go around asking people to COME for my performance but i would really love it if u guys can come cuz i'm doing sth really different and big this time round. so i would really loveee for you guys to come.

i heard from my dance teacher that the tickets are being sold out really fast so i would suggest you guys hurry if u want to come...
oh and my dance is the ultimte finale and it IS a pretty long show and fully classical. so for those of you for whom Bharatanatiyam is not really yr cuppa, i would suggest comming in pretty late. but then again, it would be quite waste of $ cuz ure actually payin for the whole show. so i dunno. up to u guys.
aniweis that's about it. i better get back to Pricing the Product. :(
